I got this chair to enable my mom to take a bath. She recently broke her femur and had to have a rod put in. The grip handle, seat back and drain holes in the seat of the chair are very helpful in the use of the chair. Relatively easy to assemble also.

This is the second one of these my family has bought in the last 10 years. The first one lasted 10 years and three different family members have used it after back surgeries. I am the current user and love the bench and it is very sturdy as I am 420 pounds. I bought a new one as the old one was starting to have a few cracks in the plastic, but as it was 10 years old I think it has held up wonderfully.
BAD back

This seat is very bad for a disabled person. I have MS and trying to sit on this is very hard as the back of the seat lays back, it is NOT secure, the back almost pops out of the slots, its all plastic for the back, metal would be better. I only weigh 108lbs. My husband had to put four screws in the back to secure it and a wood wedge at each side. Now it is secure and I no longer fall way back on it.

The bath bench arrived quickly, however all the screws,washers, etc. were LOOSE in the box. I was unable to find one of the screws for the bench and had to find a replacement screw to use. The bench is now in use and working very well.

My wife loves the bench. It is very stable and we have had no safety issues with it during several months of use. We would definately purchase again. The rubber feet keep the bench in place well. Quick and easy adjustments in height.
